Caldesi, Blanford & Co. was a highly significant early Victorian photographic studio in London, active mainly in the late 1850s to early 1860s (especially c. 1857–1862). It is best known for producing some of the earliest high-quality cartes de visite of Britain’s political, cultural, and aristocratic elite.
