History W. H. Terry: W. H. Terry was a Victorian-era photographer based in Blackpool, known for producing numerous historical photographs of the area, including views of South Beach and the promenade. A bibliography of photography journals from 1871 lists him as “William Henry Terry, Lower York Street, Wakefield, York—grocer, tea dealer, and photographer at the Assembly Rooms, Talbot Road, Blackpool, Lancaster.”
