French Turned Wood Freestanding Crucifix with Metal Jesus (SANT-036)

This vintage French freestanding crucifix features a beautifully turned wooden cross and base adorned with a detailed metal Jesus figure. Rich in character and devotional appeal, it makes a striking display piece for collectors of religious antiques and ecclesiastical décor. The base shows evidence of historic borer activity with old flight holes present; however, there are no signs of active infestation. A charming piece with authentic age-related wear and patina.

Marking: INRI plaque above the corpus, with a part of a skull motif below, reflecting traditional crucifix iconography.
Condition: Good vintage condition with age-related wear consistent with use and age. Historic borer holes are present in the base, but there is no evidence of active borer infestation.
