J L Morris: Albert C. Hamilton ran his gallery in Lawrence from about 1882 until his death in August 1888. His brother, William Edgar (also known as E. W.) Hamilton, who had already worked at the gallery, took it over. E. W. ran the gallery at the same location until February 1892, when he sold it to J. L. Morris.
