William Edmund Brown (c. 1840–1922) was a Victorian photographer based in Nelson, New Zealand, known for his studio portraits and documented street scenes. After moving from Auckland in 1865, he established a photography studio on Hardy Street in Nelson. His work includes a wide range of portraits as well as landscape views from the Nelson region.
