England Patent (GB) No. 166,855 was approved and issued in 1921.

This specific patent is closely associated with Abel Morrall Ltd. (a prominent English manufacturer) and covers the mechanical design of a crochet hook. It is frequently found stamped on vintage metal hooks, initially associated with the “Thyra” or “Crowley’s” brands before being sold as “Roma”.
