How to clean a secondhand recorder (information from the internet):
To properly clean a used wooden recorder, gently wipe the exterior with a damp cloth, taking care not to soak the wood. For the windway, use a mild detergent or Listerine, let it work, and then rinse with warm water until no residue remains. Ensure the recorder is completely dry before playing again and, if necessary, oil the wood to prevent cracking.
