The London Stereoscopic Company (LSC), founded around 1854 by George Swan Nottage. was a pioneer of Victorian photography and famous for the mass production of thousands of stereographs (3D photographic cards) of landscapes from around the world, historical events, and staged scenes. Operating from prestigious London addresses such as Regent Street and Cheapside until its closure in 1922, it left behind a vast visual legacy preserved in archives such as Getty Images.
