These small wooden masks are inspired by the traditional Tschäggättä masks from the Lötschental Valley in Switzerland. Traditionally worn during Fasnacht, their wild and mysterious appearance was believed to scare away evil spirits, chase away the darkness of winter and welcome the arrival of spring. Each mask reflects Swiss Alpine craftsmanship and folklore.
