Mock Kidney Soup recipe converted to metric:
Ingredients:

1 small broth bone
-
1 carrot, chopped
-
1 turnip, chopped
-
2.25 liters water (approx. 9 breakfast cups)

225 grams liver
-
1 onion, sliced
-
2 tablespoons (about 16 grams) flour

Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions:

Make stock by boiling the broth bone, carrot, and turnip in 2.25 liters of water. Then strain the stock.

Wash, dry, and finely chop 225g of liver.

Fry the sliced onion in a saucepan until pale brown.

Add the liver to the onion and fry together.

Stir in 2 tablespoons (16g) of flour, mixing well.

Add the strained stock. Season with salt and pepper.

Stir well and bring to the boil.

Simmer gently for about 30 minutes.
