Italian Rolls recipe converted to metric:

Ingredients
  • 170 g flour

  • 170 g sugar

  • 2 eggs

  • Some almonds (chopped)

  • Vanilla flavouring (to taste)

Method
  1. Mix the flour and sugar.

  2. Add the beaten egg yolks and vanilla flavouring.

  3. Fold in the whipped egg whites.

  4. Stir everything well together.

  5. Shape into rolls and cover with chopped almonds.

    • Temperature: 180°C (350°F)

    • Time: 15 to 20 minutes

  6. Bake until the rolls are lightly golden and firm to the touch. Since oven temperatures can vary, start checking around the 15-minute mark.
