Cheese Fingers recipe converted to metric measurements:

Ingredients:

  • 120 g flour

  • 1.25 ml (¼ tsp) salt

  • Dash of cayenne pepper

  • 2.5 ml (½ tsp) baking powder

  • 30 g butter

  • 60 g grated cheese

  • Ice water (as needed)

Instructions:

  1. Mix the flour, salt, cayenne pepper, and baking powder.

  2. Rub in the butter until the mixture is crumbly.

  3. Add the grated cheese.

  4. Mix to a dough using ice water.

  5. Roll out into a thin sheet.

  6. Cut into half-inch (about 1.25 cm) strips using a jagging iron or knife.

  7. Bake at a moderate oven temperature (~180°C) until pale brown.
