Potato Sauce (Metric Version)

  • Slice 6 or 8 cold potatoes.

  • Melt 28 grams of dripping (or fat) in a frying pan.

  • Add the potatoes, season well with pepper and salt.

  • Toss frequently until the slices are nicely coloured.

  • Serve with minced parsley and dry salt sifted over.

Only a small amount of fat must be used, and the potatoes should not be greasy
